Around Cowley County

Things we watch for every year, and a way to put yours on our list.

• Walnut Valley Festival at the Cowley County Fairgrounds in September, when Winfield fills up with pickers.
• Arkalalah in Arkansas City in late October.
• Cowley County Fair in midsummer.
• City commission meetings in Winfield and Ark City, posted on each city’s site.

Send us details through our contact page. Church suppers and benefit auctions count.
